Deuteronomy 30:19 “I have set before you life and death, the blessings and the curses; therefore choose life.”

Everyday we have a choice, either to do those things that lead to life, or do things that do not bring us closer to God and may ultimately lead to death.

Psalm 25:12-14 “Who is the man who reverently fears and worships the Lord?  Him shall He teach in the way that he should choose.  He himself shall dwell at ease, and his offspring shall inherit the land.  The secret [of the sweet, satifying companionship] of the Lord have they who fear (revere and worship) Him, and He will show them His covenant and reveal to them its [deep, inner] meaning.”

The more time we spend in the Lord, the more He will reveal to us, both of Himself and His word.  Ultimately, we should never not be ‘in the Lord’.

We have a choice – choose Him, choose life.
